Rev. John Kennedy

John Kennedy grew up in northern Mississippi. He gave his life to Christ at just five years old and spent nearly a decade leading believers in worship as he traveled and recorded with Christian music groups in Mississippi and North Carolina. In college, John studied Music Education with an emphasis on Vocal Performance. John and Candace have been at Salem since 2009. They have been married for 19 years, have been foster parents, and have adopted two beautiful children through the Surry and Stokes Counties foster care system. John and Candace have five children, Maddie, Mason, Matthew, Mallory, and Mickey.
